Jordan Katembula, who goes by the stage name JK, is one of the renowned artists born in the Zambian capital city –Lusaka. He is prominent in his blend of skills as a rapper, singer, and songwriter. Significantly, he has remained a vibrant artiste since 1997 and this distinguishes him as one of the oldest Zambian musicians.
JK has taken his music ambit to the international arena with brilliant shows in South Africa and London. Jordan Katembula appeared in the list of nominees for the 2002 Kora Awards. Also in the same year (2002), he bagged a Ngoma award.
